We've seen lower search volume across the account this week, particularly across Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach terms.
As a result, spend and clicks have dropped by 50% and 40% respectively.
Adjacent to this, we have also pushed bids for Competitor terms, which have performed well historically.
As a result, 45% of our fortnightly clicks have come from these terms (most from Coast).
Unfortunately though, no leads were achieved this fortnight.
Looking at longer data, CPL for the campaign since Feb is sitting at $680.
Granted the price point will force this to be higher, but this figure is possibly higher than I'd like.
To try improve this, we already have income exclusions from our Searches, but have now gone heavier on this.
Similarly, we had previously excluded below 25, but have now increased this to 35+.
And finally, I have looked at pinning the price point in ad copy.
I'd expect these changes to further reduce search volume & CTR - but hopefully this improves the quality of those making it to the site, and in turn improve leads.
