Overall, leads went from 48 to 32 this fortnight. While this is a drop, this is because we had the Affluent eDM in market last period. Due to this, we actually saw CPL decreasing by 50%, going from $360 to $180 across all platforms!
On top of that, we saw an extra 6 leads coming through the website outside of our Paid activity.
Search
- This fortnight lead volume doubled, going from 3 to 6!
- This was achieved, while we saw a 10% drop in spend and traffic, with lower search volume during the period.
- This drop notably came from brand terms, with traffic decreasing by 20%.
- Positively though, brand leads went from 1 to 3 this fortnight!
- The remaining 3 leads come from location searches (2 last period).
Social
- Lead improved from 10 to 14 this fortnight, with CPL going from $140 to $110!
- The story campaign has continued to perform best, receiving 6 leads at a $80 CPL.
- This compares to 8 leads at a $130 CPL for the standard assets.
- Following last fortnight's trend, the Living asset, within the standard campaign, has achieved the best results, with 6 leads at a $85 CPL.
- This compares to 2 leads at a $250 CPL for the exterior asset - we've paused this render and replaced it by a different shot of the building
- Within stories, we saw the opposite trend, with the Exterior performing at a $70 CPL (4 leads) compared to a $90 CPL for the Living story (2 leads).
- Given that we saw the opposite pattern last week, we will hold off on optimisation for the story campaign for now.
Portals
- REA profile leads decreased from 15 to 9 this fortnight, with page views decreasing by 20%.
- Native leads saw a decrease from 5 to 2, with clicks actually increasing by 10%
- Both leads came from the custom cluster.
- On Friday 11th, we've asked REA to pause the 'Luxury Homes, Vibrant Village Living' copy variation, which had low conversion historically - we will confirm once this has been actioned.
- On top of that, we also had the bonus Half Page that went live last week.
- Since then, it has already achieved 1 lead! We don’t usually see this placement generating many leads, so it’s encouraging to see it starting well.
